The event is set for Sunday through Tuesday at Bijou Park on the Lake Tahoe Community College campus. Ticket prices vary from $79 for one day to a $599 “Golden Ticket” good for all three days. Shuttle bus tickets cost extra. Among the more than 50 acts set to perform, Tiesto takes the stage Sunday night, Snoop and Beats Antique perform on New Year’s Eve.
Snowglobe will feature fireworks, big air demos between sets and an opening DJ competition, where each day of the festival will be opened by local and Bay Area DJs. More than 10,000 square feet of the festival space will be enclosed and heated, organizers said.
Other performers include Kaskade, Zeds Dead, Gramatik, Claude Vonstroke, Holy Ghost, Dillon Francis, Zion I and Luminox.
