Titan knows all the best Lake Tahoe hiking trails!
A trip to Lake Tahoe is not complete without getting out to explore the various trails which make up the basin. The area boasts hundreds of hiking options ranging from a short stroll in the meadow to scaling Mt. Tallac. There is something for every ability level. We have outlined a few of our favorites, categorizing based upon location as well as some of the features you may expect to see, such as wildflowers here: Lake Tahoe HikingFor those visitors located downtown in the casino corridor, you too can easily access a great hiking option. The recent addition of the Van Sickle Bi-State Park just a short walk from the casino area, opens up the ability for a walk in the woods without driving to get there. This park features hiking trails with beautiful views of Lake Tahoe. There is even a waterfall which is very refreshing after the trek up the hill. The trail is pet friendly allowing your furry friends the opportunity to get some exercise and of course get a taste of the refreshing mountain water at the end of the trail!
Many of my most enjoyable moments in Lake Tahoe are spent walking around, away from it all in search of another spectacular vantage point of the Lake. If you haven’t made your way off the beach or the casino floor – take a day, get out and explore – you will be so glad you did!
