If Lake Tahoe could freeze over, it would be the world's largest ice skating rink. But until it does, casual skaters and future Olympians-in-training can enjoy the sport at year-round rinks. When the snow falls, rollerbladers can keep their skills sharp by heading to an ice skating rink. Call ahead for hours, lessons and special events.
