Homewood Mountain Resort holds a special place in the hearts of skiers and riders who have been
awed by its extraordinary views. The varied ski and snowboard terrain rises dramatically up from
the shoreline of beautiful Lake Tahoe, resulting in a singular skiing experience. Breathtaking
views are a part of each turn you make and you have the exhilarating feeling that if you blow
a turn you will end up in the lake. Homewood is designed to be a resort where the ultimate boundary
is your imagination.
Local enthusiasts rate Homewood as one of the best places to snowboard in Tahoe. Snowboarders have access to the entire mountain at Homewood, allowing plenty of space on the mountain for riders to enjoy the thrills of this dynamic sport. This resort has always embraced snowboarders. In fact, the first Boarder Cross held in the Tahoe Basin was hosted by Homewood. Each season the resort hosts several snowboard competitions. Call for information about snowboard equipment rentals, lessons, clinics and events. And when you visit this season, be sure and carve the Shredwood Forest's varying terrain features!
