Civil Ceremonies
The fee is $50. A Justice of the Peace is available on Saturdays between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. No appointment is necessary. One witness must be present. To schedule an appointment, please call 775-586-7200.

 
Nevada Marriage License

	License may be issued anywhere in the state of Nevada
	License may be used anywhere in the state of Nevada
	License becomes public record
	One witness must be present at the ceremony
	Fee is $50.00
	Fee is payable by cash only, no personal checks are accepted
	No waiting period is required
	Applicants must be 18 years old
	Valid, current identification is required (Drivers License, Birth Certificate, Passport, Military ID, State Picture ID Card)
	No blood test is required
	If divorced, you must provide the date that the divorce was final and the city and state where filed
	License expires one year from the date of issue
	Certified copy of the license is available for a $10.00 fee

Please Note
The person who performs your marriage ceremony will complete your Marriage License and submit it to the County Recorder Clerk's Office where it was issued to you. The County Recorder Clerk's Office will record the marriage and will send you a certified copy of the completed Marriage License.
